Dewey’s and Pareyson’s Aesthetics

Even though the American thinker John Dewey and Italian Luigi Pareyson belong to two different philosophical traditions, on aesthetic ground they show many resonances similarities. Using Pareyson’s words, “just as it happens between people, who in particularly happy encounters […] reveal themselves each other,” is therefore possible have Dewey’s aesthetics dialogue with other, highlighting their affinities. This operation can strengthen idea that experience a way fulfil human existence. Thus, hermeneutic character of combination Deweyan pragmatist theory not only great importance for artistic experience, but also considerable value beings’ everyday lives. Starting from some aesthetics, discourse focuses his its educational significance within philosophers, coming, finally, connection so-called “everyday aesthetics.” Although influence ascertained, similarities them are superficial at all, worth bearing mind backgrounds philosophers order accurately situate reflections.
